Description Los jameos del Agua
During the eruptions of the Corona volcano above Haría, most of the lava flowed eastwards towards the sea. On it's surface it solidified first - among it the lava could continue to flow. Thus arose cavities - the cave. The places where the cave's ceiling collapsed are called Jameos (a word from the language of the Guanches), as in the case of Los Jameos del Agua also.
